# Privacy

Everything you type, paste or import into Dragon Bookcase stays in your browser. There are no accounts, no cookies and no ads; the only analytics are Cloudflare’s cookie-free page counts, described below.

## What happens to your data

- **Calculators and the ISBN converter** work entirely in your browser. Lists and CSV files you paste or choose are read on your device and never uploaded.
- **The home library catalogue** is saved in your browser’s local storage under the name dragonbookcase-catalog. It stays on this device, in this browser, until you delete it with the Delete all button or clear your browsing data. We never see it.
- **Your theme choice** (light, dark or automatic) is saved in local storage under the name dragonbookcase-theme.
- **Downloads** (CSV exports) are made in your browser and saved straight to your device.

## Analytics

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies or cross-site tracking. It does not use cookies and never receives what you type into the tools. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, also handles the ordinary web requests needed to deliver the pages.

## Links to other sites

Pages link to their sources and to a few other sites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you follow a link.
